A scene depicting trade in past centuries is currently being created at the Altstadtforum. The Gotha artist Lars Schüller is commissioned by Stadtwerke Netz to paint the energy station in the parking lot. The scene is meant to be reminiscent of the "Via Regia", the old trade route once also led through Gotha.

In the background of the subject the Gotha Castle can be seen. The image continues on all four sides of the energy station. As the 42-year-old artist says, he uses a combination of graffiti, brush and airbrush. The work should be completed this week. Schüller has often left traces of his work in Gotha, including on the new town hall. In the near future he wants to design a house facade and a kindergarten in Ohrdruf.
